At Talan, we are seeking a talented Big Data Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing data solutions that drive business growth and innovation.
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled developer who can analyze and solve complex data-related incidents, ensuring seamless production processes and regulatory compliance. Your expertise in Java, Spark, Scala, and SQL APIs will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data-driven solutions that meet client requirements
- Analyze and resolve data-related incidents to prevent breaches and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions with existing systems
- Document solutions in JIRA, Confluence, and ALM
- Certify delivery and integration through relevant testing
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proficiency in Java, Spark, Scala, and SQL APIs
- Experience with microservices, continuous integration, and cloud computing (Google, AWS, Azure)
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and quality assurance (Fortify, Sonar...)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of treasury/financial products is a plus
