Job Description
The Strategic Partnership and Fundraising Specialist will play a critical role in securing funding for the Lutheran World Federation's humanitarian and development programs in Latin America and the Caribbean. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build relationships with institutional donors, foundations, and other sources.
Main Duties:
- Map and identify strategic funding partners in the region
- Develop high-quality project proposals and concept notes for submission to key donors
- Maintain relations with respective donors and ensure compliance with donor requirements
- Strengthen Country Programmes teams to identify, acquire and manage grants
Requirements:
- Masters degree in humanitarian or development work
- Several years of experience in international humanitarian and development programs
- Experience in building strategic partnerships with donors in the region
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English
