Senior Clinical Research Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Research Director to join our Engineering UK team. This role offers the opportunity to lead clinical research projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain project timelines and ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry into systems.
- Participate in training and mentoring new staff up to Clinical Research Associate level as appropriate.
- Responsible for conducting/management of any aspect(s) of a project, when requested and authorized by the respective project manager.
- Slot into existing projects to identify potential problems and improve timelines.
- Independently and proactively coordinate and advise others on all necessary activities required to set up and monitor a study, including:
- Identifying investigators.
- Ensuring timely submission of protocol/consent documents/safety reports for Ethics/IRB approval according to local requirements.
- Placement, pre-study, and initiation visits.
- Conducting regular monitoring visits in accordance with the ICON site monitoring SOP/Sponsor site monitoring SOP/WP, as appropriate.
- Completing accurate study status reports.
- Dealing with sponsor-generated queries in a timely manner.
- Ensuring the satisfactory close-out of investigator sites.
- Participating, if requested, in the preparation and review of study documentation, e.g., draft protocols, draft CRFs, monitoring guidelines, and elements of the final report.
- Ensuring correct archiving of files on completion of a study.
- Assuming additional responsibilities as directed by the Project Manager.
- Acting in a Lead role on a study, assuming additional responsibilities as detailed/documented by the Project Manager, if appropriate.
- Coordinating and/or participating in feasibility studies for new proposals, as required.
- Bachelor's degree in a health, life sciences, or other relevant field of study.
- Minimum 8 years' work experience in biopharmaceutical clinical research obtained working on clinical trials in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO company.
- Availability to travel is required.
- All employees must read, write, and speak fluent English and host country language.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
