Overview


At Quorum Software, we are seeking a skilled Automation Testing Professional to join our team. This role requires a solid understanding of automation and scripting concepts, as well as the ability to analyze test results and coordinate with development teams.


Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to create, review, and understand automated test requirements and user stories.
  • Analyze test results and work with development teams to repair issues and enhance tests.
  • Develop and maintain suites of automation regression tests to ensure quality is not degraded in existing features.
  • Work with product teams to develop acceptance criteria for user stories and use them as the basis for automated tests.
  • Develop and manage the execution and reporting of automated tests at regular intervals during the development life-cycle.
  • Write scripts, conditions, assertions, data, and expected results that can work on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and on-premises.
  • Have a good understanding of working with CI/CD automation methodologies.
  • Be able to write clean code, use SOLID principles, and participate in code reviews.
  • Ongoing education in new technologies and tools is encouraged.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS.
  • 2+ years of Enterprise Java or C#/.Net engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in dedicated automated testing.
  • Experience with developing or using automation frameworks to optimize the creation of automated tests.
  • Experience in writing database queries preferably using Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Expertise in automated testing.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming languages.
  • Ability to analyze root causes of test automation issues and provide corrective actions.
  • Enjoys learning new techniques and technologies and can pick them up quickly.
  • Has experience working on an agile team.
  • Competent working under general direction on complex projects, issues, and problems.
  • Experience with Jenkins, TFS, TeamCity, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Experience deploying automated tests across multiple Windows operating systems.
  • Experience developing test plans, designs, and test cases.
  • Ability to self-manage, work decisively and under direct management supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate with developers to identify the root cause of test automation issues and assist with corrective actions.

Additional Details



  • Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver's License Verification and Passport/ID validation.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
  • Current professional card or registration in Colombia (if applicable): The successful candidate will be required to present their professional card or registration information if the role is deemed to be regulated.
  • Onboarding Medical: The successful candidate will be required to undergo an onboarding medical examination prior to commencement of employment, in accordance with Colombian legislation.

About the Role


The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
