**Job Summary**

This role supports the Global Banking & Markets and International Banking units in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures.

As a Senior Analyst Communications Surveillance, you will contribute to the execution of Global Communications Supervision Procedures, reviewing flagged alerts for potential non-compliant behaviors and lack of compliance with Bank policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culture and Accountability: Champion a customer-focused culture, leveraging broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Maintain expert knowledge of Bank processes, policies, procedures, applications, and products related to Global Communications Supervision Procedures.
  • Global Communications Supervision: Execute GBM Communication Supervision Procedures, review flagged alerts, and perform timely escalation and documentation of alerts to Level 2 teams when required. Maintain expected productivity and quality standards as defined through performance metrics.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with GBM Internal Controls and applicable support and control functions to remain current on new developments and emerging risks.
  • Risk Appetite and Risk Culture: Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

**Dimensions and Expectations**

This role will support the implementation, documentation, assessing, and oversight of the activities contained in the Global Voice and Electronic Communications Policy. You will work closely with Global Banking & Markets and International Banking teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and negotiating skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills (must be able to prepare documentation and interact effectively with other Bank departments).
  • Good accountability and time-management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Bank's regulations, policies, procedures, operations, and functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or accounting.
