Senior Mobile Developer Job Description

About the Role

This full-time position involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business units, to drive the creation of high-quality mobile systems that adhere to industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the product and engineering teams to comprehend project requirements, laying the foundation for future products.
  • Develop robust, efficient software solutions by applying the principles of sound design and implementation.
  • Apply expertise in Agile methodologies to drive project success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience working with both iOS and Android platforms.
  • A solid grasp of mobile UI/UX principles and adherence to established best practices.
  • Familiarity with REST API development, integrating authentication methods such as JWT, OpenID, and OIDC.
  • Proficiency in common cloud technologies, deployment systems (e.g., Azure, AWS, Docker, K8s), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with unit testing using JUnit 5+ or similar frameworks.
  • Comfortable working with Git and familiar with agile development environments.
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes and application lifecycle management tools like JIRA.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and database principles beyond data access, or experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Able to optimize SQL queries for performance using techniques like indexing and partitioning.
