Key Responsibilities:- Ensure full compliance with Colombian labor laws, tax regulations, intellectual property rights, contractual obligations, and civil legislation.
- Serve as the company's legal representative in Colombia, with authority to sign contracts, represent the company before banks, and engage with external stakeholders.
- Regularly review and update compliance policies to meet local regulatory changes.
- Oversee daily administrative workflows to ensure the smooth operation of our office in Colombia.
- Coordinate with global teams to align local operations with our corporate policies and standards.
- Manage relationships with local vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation and review.
- Identify potential risks related to compliance, operations, and governance, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to legal requirements.
- Act as a key liaison with legal counsel for regulatory matters and corporate governance.
- Represent us in discussions with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to stay informed on policy changes and advocate for our interests.
- Report directly to the Head of Colombia and NOLA, providing regular updates on compliance status, administrative performance, and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate closely with global teams in finance, HR, marketing, and technology to ensure effective cross-functional alignment.
