Ramp Handler

In this role, you will be responsible for handling packages within our operations, including manual handling, sort activities, screening, and completing related administration or paperwork.

• Loads and unloads company ULDs and vehicles in a safe manner.
• Audits size and weight of packages and boxes, and sorts them accordingly.
• Ensures the use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx safety policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.
• Handles packages to sort and ensures the safety of FedEx and customer property.
• Operates company vehicles in a safe and secure manner, when required.
• Picks up and delivers packages as required.
• Monitors and participates in the organization of the work environment.

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Valid Drivers License (C1 or C2) and good driving record, preferred.
• Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment, preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kgs (men) & 12.5 kgs (women) and to maneuver packages with more weight with appropriate equipment.
• Must be able to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
