About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at CI&T. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java and other technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Software Development: Design, develop, and test software applications using Java, Spring Framework, and other technologies.
  2. Legacy System Updates: Continue updating legacy modules with newer technologies to ensure our software remains competitive and efficient.
  3. Component Development: Develop components and enhancements to our software, utilizing technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, Javascript, ReactJS, AngularJS, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.
  4. Collaboration: Work across departments to ensure long-term development efforts support the business' goals and needs.
  5. Design and Code Reviews: Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality software development.
  6. Technical Documentation: Create technical documentation to support software development and maintenance.
  7. Architectural Guidance: Guide specific implementation of overall architectural patterns and decisions.
Requirements
  1. Java Experience: Experience with Java utilizing object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  2. Spring Framework Experience: Experience with Spring Framework or similar Java development frameworks.
  3. Javascript Experience: Experience with Javascript.
  4. Elasticsearch and MongoDB Experience: Experience with Elasticsearch and/or MongoDB.
  5. RDBMS Familiarity: RDBMS familiarity – schema design, query creation, and application integration.
  6. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  7. Communication Skills: Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to effectively contribute to team discussions.
