Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team at AgileEngine, LLC. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining our Information Security Framework and implementing controls to ensure the security of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and update our Information Security Framework, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  2. Design and implement security controls to meet security requirements.
  3. Develop and integrate security solutions and technologies to protect our information systems.
  4. Implement security best practices, hardening guidelines, and protection profiles to ensure the security of our systems.
  5. Perform ongoing security monitoring of our information systems, including risk analysis and vulnerability assessments.
  6. Conduct regular gap analysis and vulnerability assessments, and consult on mitigating vulnerabilities.
  7. Manage and configure various security tools, including SIEM, SOAR, HIDS/NIDS, WAF, and others.
  8. Respond to security incidents and manage vulnerability management processes.
  9. Evaluate and recommend new information security technologies and counter-measures against threats to our information and systems.
  10. Conduct periodic internal information security audits and help create effective staff training programs to increase security awareness.
Requirements
  1. 2+ years of experience in information security.
  2. Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English.
  3. Strong understanding of information security principles, practices, and methodologies.
  4. Knowledge of at least one security standard: ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, or SOC 2.
  5. Practical experience in developing and writing security policies and procedures.
  6. Hands-on experience with the incident response process, including detection, investigation, and mitigation.
  7. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured reports.
  8. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex systems, identify security issues, and devise effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Familiarity with cloud architectures and secure network design principles.
  2. Understanding of troubleshooting techniques relevant to security and systems management.
  3. Experience with operating system hardening and secure configuration practices.
  4. Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools.
  5. Practical experience using SIEM and other security monitoring tools.
