The Role:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading a team of accounting specialists and full-charge bookkeepers while overseeing multiple client accounts.
This role plays a pivotal role in optimizing and managing financial systems by analyzing client SOPs (standard operating procedures), identifying inefficiencies, streamlining accounting operations, and implementing new tools and processes for a best-in-class accounting department workflow.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, leadership, and a client-centric mindset to deliver business-focused insights that drive profitability and growth.
Main Responsibilities:
Client Account Management: Oversee and manage the financial operation for multiple clients, ensuring that all deliverables are accurate and timely.
Serve as a trusted advisor, providing clients with strategic guidance and actionable insights to support business growth.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting specialists and bookkeepers.
Key Requirements:
5+ years of experience in an accounting leadership role, preferably with multi-client or multi-industry exposure.
Advanced understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and tax planning strategies.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO), financial analysis, and reporting.
