About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to join our team at FLYR. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of software engineers, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to help them grow and develop in their careers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement processes and tools to improve engineering efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including engineering teams, product management, and executive leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an engineering manager or technical lead, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality products and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a deep understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and sales.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Jira and Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
