Spanish VRI/OPI Interpreter

We are seeking a highly skilled Spanish VRI/OPI interpreter to join our team at Future Group. As a remote interpreter, you will provide accurate communication between non-English and English speakers during calls, working in various fields and industries.

• Answer calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.
• Take notes during calls and be aware of specific industry vocabulary, particularly in the healthcare and medical fields.
• Render all messages accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interpreting and facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient and Client.
• Participate in internal professional training and be eager to obtain new certifications.
• Communicate and report to your team leader and comply with dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

• Fluency in English and native proficiency in Spanish (Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of experience in over-the-telephone interpretation in a well-known interpretation company.
• Good knowledge of medical terminology and awareness of legal terminology is a plus.
• International certifications in the healthcare industry, such as PICSI, ALTA, or HIPAA, are a plus.
• High school diploma in your native language and high emotional intelligence and tolerance to different cultures.
• High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.

• Dedicated high-speed, private, and secured internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps and upload speed of 3 Mbps.
• Wired internet, Ethernet port, and a minimum Windows 10 operating system.
• Computers with dual core, 2 GHZ processor, 8 GB RAM memory minimum, and a single device that can run required systems.
• External monitors and connectors, if applicable, and power adapter plugged in and not operating on battery.
• No Chromebook or wireless/Bluetooth headphones allowed.

• Fully remote position with a clear schedule and full-time or part-time position (business and weekend hours).
• Immediate availability to start working after onboarding and internal certified training.
• Monthly fee payments and contract type of employment.
