In this role, you will be responsible for making outbound sales calls to prospective customers (leads provided), engaging with union members who are eligible for special rates on life insurance.
You'll play a crucial role in driving sales and meeting performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Calling: Conduct high-volume outbound sales calls to union members from a provided lead list, introducing and selling life insurance.
- Engage Prospects: Establish rapport with prospective customers, understand their insurance needs, and offer tailored life insurance solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Communicate the value of life insurance offerings effectively, ensuring a deep understanding of the benefits available through union affiliations.
- Meet Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Objection Handling: Think critically and respond to customer inquiries or objections confidently and effectively.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and update CRM systems with new information.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in outbound sales or call center environments is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Clear spoken English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accent clarity is critical.
- Sales Skills: Ability to quickly build rapport with customers, handle objections, and close sales.
- Adaptability: Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with dialer software (e.g., 59Dialer) or other similar outbound sales tools.
- Goal-Oriented: A results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Nice-to-Haves: Experience selling life insurance or working with union-affiliated clients.
- Previous experience working in a global or remote sales team.
- Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle a large volume of calls while maintaining quality.
