Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions using cloud-based technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Software Development: Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using cloud-based technologies, such as AWS Cloud components (Lambda / SAM, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, RDS, Airflow, Glue, EC2, S3).
- Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with and mentor your teammates to help them deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Technical Skills: Develop and maintain strong technical skills in areas such as web scraping, leveraging both requests-based scrapers and browser automation, relational database design and development, and strong Python experience (or strong C# with a willingness to work in Python, or both).
- Agile Methodologies: Apply Agile and Scrum principles to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
- Experience: +4 years working as a backend software engineer using C#, Python, or Golang as your primary language with strong JavaScript / Typescript experience as well.
- Technical Skills: Experience with architectural patterns for large, high-scale web applications, microservices architecture, in-memory data stores, and NoSQL data systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong team-oriented mindset, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
