TelevisaUnivision is a leading media company in the world, investing in content, people, and properties across digital, streaming, social, audio, linear, and live events.

We're expanding our offerings, building on the successful launch of our streaming platform ViX.

We're seeking a Chief Digital Solutions Architect to join our team and play a key role in developing and maintaining high-performance web applications that enhance the user experience across various platforms.

As a critical member of our team, you'll contribute your expertise to our mission of building the premier Spanish Language Streaming Video Service.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and implement robust web services adhering to best practices and testing standards, with a focus on peer reviews and critiques.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-performance, secure, and operationally excellent web applications.
  • Collaborate with a remote, multi-disciplinary team spanning different time zones.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the assigned system, demonstrating ownership in problem triaging and prioritization.
Contribute to the growth and success of our company by applying your expertise in web and system development.

For this role, we're looking for a seasoned engineer with a proven track record of delivering impactful web solutions. Advocating for software craftsmanship and operational excellence is second nature to you, balancing it with practical considerations when necessary. Open communication is a value you hold dearly, and you actively seek and provide constructive feedback. Your composure remains intact in challenging situations.


REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of hands-on experience in web development as a technical individual contributor. Proven expertise in web and system development. 2+ years of experience in the video streaming space. Proficiency in cloud-based development. Strong understanding of web Framework (React). Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns. Proficient in written and spoken English.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
