The Job

We're looking for a skilled UNIX Specialist to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. As a key member of our technical support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional technical assistance to our clients, enabling them to achieve their business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Systems Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex equipment, software, and systems with ease.
  2. Client Support: Provide world-class support to customers requiring assistance with highly technical or sophisticated products, customer installations, and training.
  3. System Administration: Perform varying degrees of problem determination and resolution of desktop hardware and software issues using technical expertise and available resources.
  4. IT Infrastructure: Manage, configure, maintain, automate, troubleshoot, and oversee compliance and audit processes for our server infrastructure, including Linux and UNIX platforms.

Required Skills:

  • Operating Systems: Administration, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of operating systems: Windows Server, Linux, AIX.
  • Network Configuration: Configuration and management of TCP/IP networks (including DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Performance Optimization: System performance optimization: kernel parameter tuning, resource management, performance analysis, and capacity planning.
