About the Role

We are looking for an experienced engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services built on the .NET Core platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core and other Microsoft technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust and scalable software solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and adhering to coding standards.
  • Implement and optimize databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), ensuring efficient and secure data storage and retrieval.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs into .NET Core applications, enhancing functionality and ensuring seamless communication between systems.
  • Perform code reviews and debugging to ensure quality and performance across the application lifecycle.
Requirements

To be successful at this role, we expect you to have the following experience and skills:

  • Reside in Chile or Colombia.
  • Advanced English skills.
  • Experience developing web applications using .NET Core and the .NET Framework.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core for building modern web applications and APIs.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development using .NET Core.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database interactions.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, or React) and how they integrate with back-end services.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
  • Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS for deploying and managing .NET Core applications.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
