About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Officer to join our team in Bogota, Colombia. As a key member of our Technology & Operations Finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall success of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with managing the end-to-end Financial Process for all expense categories assigned of the various portfolios under Technology teams, including accruals, invoicing, forecasting, planning, variance analysis, budget transfers, contract renewals, purchase orders, deferrals, and ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist with managing the Financial Process for the FTE Staffing Budget of all Technology Operations teams, including forecasting, planning, variance analysis, budget transfers, reconciliations, and maintenance of reporting data.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Monitor continual activity within the business, providing transparency and opportunities for benefits and savings.
  • Be a dynamic and detailed-oriented individual who can multitask in a fast-paced environment, efficiently and independently, with a team player attitude.
Requirements
  • A recognized undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Analytical mind with critical thinking, able to juggle multiple competing priorities with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to succinctly distill information.
  • 4+ years of hands-on business analysis, data, or procurement work experience, with Accounting experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, Visio, and financial reporting software, with a working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Self-driven, highly energetic, and team player attitude, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed, often on short notice.
