As a Senior Software Engineer focused on our mobile app, you will be responsible for solving challenges in our highest-traffic applications, with your work having a direct impact on our product and the millions of customers using it.
Key Responsibilities- Feature Development: Help own and build out new features within our cross-platform TypeScript React Native app, and Golang backend APIs.
- Release Management: Manage our releases, using tools like cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure to ensure a safe rollout to our millions of active users.
- Collaboration: Maintain a strong working relationship with product, design, and the business to ensure stakeholder needs are being evaluated and met.
- Code Quality: Work with the team to continuously build clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.
- Domain Knowledge: Develop a deep working knowledge of your application, data domain, and KPIs.
- Technical Expertise: 6+ years experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
- Mobile App Development: Experience developing and delivering a mobile application to Apple and Google's mobile app stores.
- Database Knowledge: Understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
- Automated Testing: Knowledgeable in writing automated tests for applications (unit, integration, end-to-end), and implementing them in a CI environment.
- Backend Development: Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java or similar.
- Microservices Architecture: Familiarity with typical microservice architecture composed of HTTP APIs.
- Native Code Development: Experience working with native code on iOS, Android.
- Team Player: A+ character. We are team-first here at Sezzle.

The compensation range for the role is as follows:
$4,600 - $7,500 USD Monthly
