About the Role

The 3D data annotation specialist role is an entry-level position that involves tasks related to data labeling and classification, under the guidance of a project manager. As part of our team, you can expect to work on the following responsibilities:

  • Data Labeling: Accurately labeling data points according to specific guidelines or criteria.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of labeled data.
  • Following Guidelines: Adhering to strict guidelines and standards set by the organization.
  • Learning New Tasks: Being open to learning new labeling tasks and adapting to changing project requirements.
  • Using Annotation Tools: Adapting to the use of the recommended annotation tools and software for day-to-day work.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Colombian National based in Medellín.
  • Current student or recent graduate in fields such as School of Engineering, School of Architecture, and Graphics Design.

Work/Production Requirements:

  • Workstation: Each candidate must have their own laptop with the following specifications:
    • Memory: 16GB RAM.
    • Processor: i5 or equivalent, generation 11 or newer.
    • Display: 27-inch external monitor with 1440px resolution.
    • Video graphics: sufficient to support workstation setup.
  • Internet Connectivity: 10Mbps.
  • Additional Workstation accessories:
    • External mouse (mandatory).
    • Power backup, if prone to power outages.
    • External Monitor (recommended).

Mode of Work Employment Terms:

  • Hired as an independent contractor.
  • Remote work with in-person components for training and support.
  • Training expectations:
    • Four to six weeks of paid training (likely from mid-October to dates to be confirmed).
    • Training will take place in-person in Medellín.
  • Production Work Expectations:
    • Available to complete 40 hours of work per week.
    • Production work will likely take place between 12 PM and 8 PM local time.
    • Commit to being available for a minimum of six months.
  • Expected Pay:
    • Paid in USD.
    • Production pay will be $2-$3 per hour (exact amount to be confirmed in the coming days).
