Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- The payroll operations specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee salaries, compliance with labor laws, and effective management of financial resources.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the relationship with external vendors, including payroll service providers and accounting companies, to ensure seamless execution of standard and complex payroll tasks.
- Analyze and process employee data, including hirings, terminations, vacations, car allowances, mobility, holidays worked, commissions, medical leaves, absences, etc., to facilitate accurate payroll processing.
- Execute personnel payments accurately and in accordance with current labor legislation.
- Process social security, retirement savings plans, and income taxes to comply with labor regulations.
- Present required documentation during audits or inspections to ensure adherence to legislation and company guidelines.
- Conduct standard and complex audits of personnel data, programs, and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide consulting and support services to employees and HR teams on general and complex payroll matters.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from employees through ticket self-service, email, and phone.
- Manage payroll for revenue-generating groups of employees.
- Suggest improvements to payroll processes and system usage.
- Support the reconciliation of financial accounts with payroll results.
- Collaborate with local data management teams and payroll accounting specialists to compare monthly accounting documents.
- Prepare declarations and communicate with tax authorities, social security, and other state institutions in a timely manner.
- Monitor employee payments and ensure correct account assignment of wage types in SAP HR – Success Factor (EC).
- Manage system and process changes related to payroll management to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to corporate policies.
- Provide input for updates to corporate policies and regulations.
- Support projects and modifications of systems and processes to ensure correct implementation of regulations and adherence to corporate guidelines.
- Manage tickets regarding inquiries, requests, and complaints about employee payroll or business markets.
