Job Overview

We are seeking a Perioperative Anesthesia Specialist to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina.

This role will involve delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong clinical background, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans
• Select and administer medications and equipment as needed
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-anesthesia care
• Evaluate patient response to anesthesia and take corrective action as necessary

Requirements

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetist Educational Programs
• Current state licensure and certification as a CRNA
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 5 years of experience as a CRNA, preferably in a facility setting

Salary and Benefits

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $182-$240, depending on qualifications and location.

Working Conditions
