We are looking for an analytics expert to join our dynamic business analytics team. The team supports Recurly employees by providing them with the right data and insights at their fingertips. This role will focus on creating data models to prepare Recurly's vast and complex data for dashboards.
Traits:
- You have advanced skills with SQL (CTEs, analytic functions) and can connect raw data to business results.
- You have a foundational knowledge of data modeling.
- Working knowledge of dbt and git.
- You are able to translate findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts, analytics engineers, and internal subject matter experts to understand our source data, systems, and data requirements.
- Design conceptual and logical data models to transform data from our data warehouse to power data visualization / reporting tools.
- Continually evolve and improve data models and architecture to meet new and changing business requirements and metrics.
- Write and execute data validation test cases and resolve data issues.
Requirements:
- You have 1-2+ years of progressive experience in the field of analytics.
- You have strong relationship building and communication skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with building dashboards in Tableau and/or Looker.
- Experience with Python and/or R.
