The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Solar Energy Investment Manager to join our team in LATAM. As a key member of our Investment Team, you will be responsible for building sophisticated financial models for photovoltaic energy projects and supporting the negotiation and execution of M&A, funds raising, project finance, and sale processes. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing investment opportunities against company pre-defined criteria and supporting the preparation of offer/bids and term sheets.

Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain financial models for photovoltaic energy projects, including cash flow projections and risk assessments* Support the Investment Team in the negotiation and execution of M&A, funds raising, project finance, and sale processes* Analyze investment opportunities against company pre-defined criteria, including technical, financial, and market assessments* Support the preparation of offer/bids and term sheets, including financial modeling and due diligence* Assess electricity market trends and their impact on expected profitability at project/portfolio level* Analyze energy offtake structures and make recommendations on the most adequate option for specific projects

The Ideal Candidate
* Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, industrial engineering, or a similar field* MBA or Masters is a plus* 5+ years of experience in finance, with a strong track record in cash flow modeling and financial analysis* Excellent knowledge of electricity market regulations and financing infrastructure* Strong MS Office Excel and macro-programming skills (Visual Basic programming is a plus)* Excellent presentation and communication skills* Analytical skills, structural thinking, and a willingness to learn* Excellent command of English, with Portuguese and Spanish being a plus

Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary that reflects the company's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
