Electronic Systems CAD Operator

We are seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our team at Uptalent.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality electronic systems drawings, including floor plans, riser diagrams, and electrical interconnection drawings. They will work closely with our Building Automation System (BAS) Design Engineers to ensure that all projects meet the required standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate and detailed electronic systems drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Collaborate with BAS Design Engineers to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
  • Maintain project drawing files and associated records.
  • Develop and recommend improvements to AutoCAD standards, templates, and processes.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Proficiency in Full Version of AutoCAD release 2015 and AutoCAD LT release 2015.
  2. Strong knowledge of drafting/engineering practices and methods.
  3. An understanding of Model Space, Paper Space, and Scale Factors.
  4. Experience with configuring and updating AutoCAD External Reference Files (Xrefs).
  5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
