About the Role
The Global Gas and Oil Network is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Coordinator to join its team. As a key member of the GGON communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective regional communications strategies that align with the network's ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional communications strategies that promote the network's mission and objectives.
- Provide strategic communications support to GGON members in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Conduct media relations activities to raise awareness about GGON's work and campaigns.
- Assist in creating and maintaining relationships with international media outlets and journalists.
- Participate in oil and gas communications working groups and channels.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in communications, advocacy, or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful communications strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with civil society organizations and networks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
