Quality Assurance Associate

Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Functional Associate is a critical member of our software development teams, responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our applications. This role involves coordinating and executing testing for multiple projects or releases, working closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Testing and Coordination: Assess UAT projects to determine the risk of releasing code into the current test environment, design UAT test plans, and execute test cases as needed.
- Defect Management: Document test results, conduct defect triage meetings with stakeholders, and work closely with development teams to resolve defects.
- Automation and Scripting: Execute Test Automation Scripts, analyze test logs, and validate test results.
- Project Support: Provide hands-on training on systems, hardware, environment, product, standards, and methodology to final users, and contribute recommendations and assessments to ongoing project reviews.
- Agile and Waterfall: Work with individual project teams, during the software development life cycle, to ensure business and technical requirements have been fulfilled.
Requirements
2+ years of software testing experience, preferably on banking/financial applications, with a strong understanding of code management, server and applications layering, environment configuration, and databases.
Preferred Skills
- Automation experience in SELENIUM, Cucumber, and GHERKIN
- Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Extensive understanding of code management, server and applications layering, environment configuration, and databases
Education and Experience
2+ years of software testing experience, preferably on banking/financial applications
