Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at TaskUs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for building scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new features and applications for our platform
  • Contribute to high-quality code utilizing best practices (RESTful API patterns, SOLID, event-driven WebSocket service patterns, etc)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to add real value to our internal and client solutions
  • Innovate in a complex environment to bring real change to our industry while upholding security and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience delivering secure, scalable web applications
  • 3+ years experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Node (Javascript), PHP, or React experience
  • 2+ years experience working on production level either web/API apps
  • 2+ years experience with modern build tooling such as Webpack and Babel
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production web services at scale, especially using asynchronous patterns
  • Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL technologies (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Experience managing code with containers, specifically Docker
  • Experience with cloud engineering on AWS (ECS/Fargate, CloudFront, Lambda, Redshift, queuing)
  • Comfortable working on an agile, collaborative team using the usual suite of productivity tools (Jira, GitHub, Slack, GDrive, etc.)
