Heavy Duty Truck Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer SVC Tech to join our team at Snider Fleet Solutions. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel and gasoline class 5 through 8 heavy trucks without direct supervision.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair heavy duty truck system components, including electrical, electronics, and emissions related fault codes.
- Perform basic repairs such as brake jobs, PM inspections, wheel end service, and welding.
- Examine all truck componentry to ensure compliance with Federal annual inspection and brake system criteria guidelines.
- Lubricate moving parts and perform other duties as assigned.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years' experience within the industry or a related management position. Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification is required, and Commercial TIA certification is required after six months of employment. Medium/Heavy Truck ASE certifications are preferred.
We offer a competitive salary, paid time off, profit sharing, medical, vision, employer-paid life, and short-term disability insurance. You will also be eligible for a $3,500 retention bonus and a $700 monthly commission.

You must be able to read and interpret documents, provide your own hand tools, and solve practical problems. Basic computer and smartphone skills are also required.
