We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Global Finance Team. As a full-time employee, you will work remotely from Colombia, but also have the option to work from our office in Medellin or any other location within the Americas for short periods.
In this role, you will maintain and optimize our company's financial operations, ensuring all accounting operations meet legal requirements. You will be part of a dynamic Finance team that manages the financial aspects of our business, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting.
- Importing bank statements, performing bank reconciliation, and preparing the cash flow statement for management.
- Preparing and processing payments to suppliers, tax authorities, and salaries, while ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Gathering and delivering purchase invoices to the accounting firm, accurately recognizing costs, and accruing expenses.
- Processing, double-checking, and delivering intercompany invoices to the head office.
- Reviewing and translating financial statements and reports delivered by the accounting firm, and providing accurate information to the head office.
- Collaborating with HR to prepare payroll payments for employees and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
You will work closely with the Finance Team and VP of Finance to streamline financial planning and decision-making processes.
