Responsibilities- Collect specimens accurately and efficiently, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams.
- Ensure all data entry requirements are completed accurately, including patient registration and test order entry.
- Verify patient demographic information and initials, guaranteeing tubes are labeled correctly in the patient's presence.
- Research test/client information and confirm written and electronic orders using lab technology systems or directory of services.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest phlebotomy techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in phlebotomy or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
