Job Title: Data Management Sr. Analyst

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Data Management Sr. Analyst to join our team in Colombia. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for the collection, preparation, and reporting of statistical data, as well as providing technical support for tools and analytic processes used for specified lines of insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and prepare new reports and applications using multiple sources of information.
  • Evaluate information being reported for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness.
  • Maintain and provide support for existing tools and applications used in the analysis of information.
  • Communicate with actuaries, accountants, product managers, and I/T staff regarding data requirements and/or business requirements involving new reports or applications.
  • Prepare internal and/or external correspondence related to the development and understanding of information.
  • Conduct research into proposed solutions regarding data quality issues as well as for the development of new reports or applications.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in English, as you will be working with an international team.
  • Advanced knowledge of data analytics core tools, including Excel, Power BI, VMA Macros, and SQL.
  • Understanding of data architecture, including setting the blueprint for data and the way it flows through data storage systems and subsequent downstream applications.
  • Experience with data governance and management, including managing the availability, consistency, usability, integrity, and security of data employed in an enterprise.
  • Knowledge of data mining and engineering, including applying knowledge of data mining practices, tools, and technologies to find patterns in data.
  • Understanding of data visualization and reporting, including using various visual aids to articulate or convey observations regarding data.
  • Knowledge of statistical and descriptive analysis, including understanding and applying knowledge of various statistical and/or analytical metrics, equations, or practices.
