A New Opportunity Awaits
We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Operations Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Bogotá, Colombia. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in driving sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with Colombian regulations, and promoting environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance and Monitoring: Coordinate actions for identifying, complying with, and monitoring environmental regulations applicable to our plant in Bogotá.
- Utilities Management: Implement and monitor daily utility consumption management systems, ensuring reporting, investigating deviations, generating corrective/preventive actions, and analyzing trends.
- Training and Development: Design and execute training processes for Environment and Safety, focusing on compliance and effectiveness.
- Strategy and Innovation: Support and validate the implementation of change control processes impacting EHS, engaging with initiatives and projects for innovation, savings, expenditure, and capital.
Requirements
- Environmental Expertise: Hold an Environmental Technologist or Environmental Professional degree, with experience in related areas.
- Desirable Qualifications: Possess ISO 14001 Auditor certification.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Sustainability or related fields.
- Language Skills: Intermediate English level (written and spoken).
About the Role
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits and incentives.
