We are currently seeking a Clinical Operations Associate to support our clinical trial operations team in Bogotá, Colombia.

Job Description

The Clinical Operations Associate will play a key role in supporting the clinical trial process, ensuring smooth and compliant trial operations.

  • Trial Support: Assist with the preparation, execution, and oversight of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to trial protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Support the management of essential clinical trial documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GCP, ICH).
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the clinical trial team, external partners, and clinical trial sites to ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Logistical Coordination: Coordinate logistics related to clinical trials, including trial supplies, equipment, and site visits.
  • Monitoring Support: Assist with the monitoring of clinical trial progress, including tracking milestones and reporting to senior staff on any trial delays or issues.
  • Regulatory Support: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with the preparation for site audits or regulatory inspections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in clinical trials, healthcare, or a related field (experience in clinical operations is a plus).
  • Familiarity with clinical trial regulations (e.g., GCP, ICH) and practices is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and take initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
