We are seeking an experienced Python Technical Lead to join our team. As the lead developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a robust Matching API platform using a suite of open-source frameworks and technologies.

**Job Description**

The successful candidate will lead a team of talented developers, mentor them, and ensure the delivery of high-performance, scalable enterprise-level applications. You will collaborate on the overall implementation strategy and technical direction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design, develop, and implement the new Match API platform using technologies such as Traefik, FastAPI, Prometheus, Loki, AWS, Python, RabbitMQ, Redis, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes (RKE2).
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.

**Requirements and Qualifications:*

  • +2 years Experience as a Python Technical Lead or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in developing enterprise-level applications that are performant at scale.
  • Proven experience with Python and open-source frameworks such as FastAPI.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Loki.
  • Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ and in-memory data stores like Redis.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of leading high-performing development teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Estimated salary $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
