Job Description:

As a Regional Medical Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the medical strategy for our Latin America region. You will be responsible for developing and executing plans to drive business growth, improve patient outcomes, and enhance our reputation as a leader in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medical Strategy:

* Develop and execute comprehensive medical strategies to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.

2. Leadership and Collaboration:

* Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

* Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to develop and implement medical strategies.

3. Clinical Planning and Execution:

* Oversee clinical planning and execution for research protocols, grants, and contracts.

* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

4. Scientific and Technical Expertise:

* Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific data and trends in the field.

* Provide scientific and technical expertise to support business growth and patient outcomes.

5. Business/Customer Support:

* Develop and execute plans to support marketing and sales activities.

* Collaborate with brand teams and other stakeholders to develop medical strategies to support commercialization activities.

6. Regulatory/Submission Responsibilities:

* Ensure that clinical data meets all necessary regulatory standards.

* Provide support for global registrations, labeling, and label modifications.

7. Administrative Responsibilities:

* Review and approve major business documents requiring director-level approval.

* Serve as a member of the regional leadership team and contribute to business area management process and policy development.

Requirements:

* PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., medicine, life sciences).

* Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field (e.g., pharmaceutical industry, academia).

* Proven track record of leadership and collaboration.

* Strong scientific and technical expertise.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
