Job Summary:

This LPN role involves administrative and clinical tasks, including maintaining accurate patient records, preparing patients and exam rooms, and assisting physicians with examinations. Your extensive skills in clerical computer and phone operations, medical terminology, and hands-on clinical procedures will be invaluable in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Preparing patients and exam rooms for examination
  • Assisting physicians with exams and other clinical procedures
  • Performing vital signs, such as pulse and blood pressure
  • Updating medications, allergies, and other information in patient records

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an approved school of nursing
  • Washington Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols, infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality
