Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary for this role, with an estimated annual compensation of $60,000 - $80,000 depending on location and experience.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Pricing Negotiation Support Analyst to join our global Commercial Operations department, working within the Global Pricing Ops Team. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Pricing Operations and Negotiations, with mentoring from the Director of Global Pricing, you will be a key member of the team and bring your developing negotiations and analytical skills to support the business on Global and Local RFPs.

You will be responsible for consulting with all departments to help define reporting, develop analytics solutions and deliver analysis and recommendations on commercial decisions. There will be considerable on-the-job training and opportunities to significantly expand your role.

This position would suit a candidate who has relevant analytical experience keen to further develop their career. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a resource for interpreting data and information; communicate results to team members.
  • Support team members to facilitate the delivery of Negotiation Support team objectives.
  • Work with multiple departments to coordinate negotiation support and deliver pricing to customers.
  • Utilize analytical tools across all departments and functional areas providing detailed reporting and analysis.
  • Maintain and develop strong working relationships with business owners as a process advocate.
  • Support creation of speech and presentation materials for members of the management team.
  • Keep abreast of healthcare trends and competitor activity.
  • Perform related duties as assigned. May be required to travel domestically and internationally on occasion.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • The ability to effectively participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams.
  • Planning, analytical, and conceptual skills to evaluate business problems and identify and apply appropriate solutions.
  • Solid business acumen.
  • Experience of relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server or Access) and data management desirable.
  • Experience with Alteryx desirable.
  • Experience with statistical or maths packages (e.g. R, Stata, SPSS) desirable.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel essential.
