Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Leader to join our team at Goodyear. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate work and communicate with team members to achieve daily objectives and ensure safety compliance.
  • Establish and deliver maintenance and reliability objectives to improve safety and operations.
  • Manage resources to ensure maintenance and reliability objectives are met, enabling the plant to meet output and quality commitments.
  • Update safety, attendance, housekeeping, and performance scorecards as per plant protocol.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, team building, coaching/mentoring, negotiating, and relationship building skills.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management programs (e.g., SAP-PM) and general computer programs.
  • Fundamental understanding of industrial equipment and knowledge of maintenance best practices, predictive maintenance concepts, and planning/scheduling functionality.
  • Problem-solving techniques, such as DMAIC and A3, and ability to communicate in English.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and experience with plant optimization a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of four years of engineering/maintenance management experience in an industrial environment, with experience leading multidisciplinary technical team members to achieve cost-effective goals.

Knowledge and Interpretation:

  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental goals.
  • Elaboration of a matrix of environmental aspects and impacts and operational controls.
  • Development of an evaluation and risk assessment of the environmental management system.
  • Compliance with legal requirements applicable to the area.
  • Demonstration of being able to take a machine to zero energy.
  • Coaching of ICHE and application of rules related to LOTO and ICHE procedures.
