We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Engineer to join our team at Softtek. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving background, with expertise in PeopleSoft 9.2 financials application and related tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating incident management, troubleshooting problems, conducting root cause analysis, and supporting system improvements.
- Providing L2 support for application issues, diagnosing root causes and implementing resolutions.
- Collaborating with Service Managers to deliver technical support and troubleshoot incidents and problems with existing applications.
- Maintaining system performance and identifying potential problem areas.
- Supporting quality assurance testing phase on new applications.
- Conducting root cause analyses for recurring issues and implementing long-term fixes.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.2 financials application with experience in AP, AR, GL, AM.
- Experience with People Tools such as Application Designer, Application Engine, People Code, Process scheduler.
- Good understanding of PeopleSoft 9.2 query, SQL, and vision reporting.
- Ability to work independently on projects.
- Leadership skills to lead projects from start to finish.
