Petroleum Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our Customer Success team at Tachyus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our Latin America clients, ensuring they achieve the best possible outcomes from our software.

Key responsibilities include presenting complex technical information to customers, training them on how to utilize our platform effectively, and onboard new projects. This role may require occasional visits to clients and participation in in-person workshops. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Customer Success Managers, IT specialists, and researchers to drive customer satisfaction, secure renewals, and facilitate successful upsells. Reporting directly to the Customer Success Manager, you will assume multiple roles due to the dynamic nature of our rapidly growing startup. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as equity packages, comprehensive health insurance, and stock options.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or Geology, with a proven track record of reservoir engineering experience. Additionally, you should have excellent written and verbal proficiency in English and Spanish, a minimum of 3 years of experience working in petroleum engineering positions, and a strong background in data analysis.
