About the Role

The Senior Representative - Treasury Systems plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day activities for the Treasury Management System (Quantum) and contributes to the development and execution of finance and treasury projects, primarily for Latin American Operations (LAO) countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Treasury Systems and Projects related to cash flow, investments, debt, and capital management.
  • Conduct and/or participate in meetings with different teams throughout the organization to develop a solid understanding of upcoming and ongoing projects and their associated impact on departments.
  • Support business initiatives and projects, taking into account local regulations, methodologies, and processes by utilizing the Treasury System.
  • Review software, technical, and functional requirements to ensure department requirements are thoroughly documented and supported.
  • Coordinate testing, including developing test scripts, reviewing documentation, and test results, and communicating any issues to management, developers, and business analysts.
  • Monitor local regulations, banking, and capital markets policies and procedures in each country.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related areas.
  • Desired experience of 1-3 years in financial areas, especially in Treasury and Back-office operations.
  • Knowledge of corporate banking and capital markets, primarily in LAO countries.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and cash management.
  • Advanced knowledge of finance, accounting, and/or financial services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel-Advanced.
  • SQL Query experience. Preference but not a must.
  • Knowledge of Oracle. Preference but not a must.
  • Experience with Treasury Workstations preferred.
  • Excellent English oral, written, and communication skills; Spanish and Portuguese – preference.
  • Ability to use good judgment in making decisions independently relating to daily Treasury/Finance activities.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management through daily interface and formal presentation.
  • Detail and results-oriented.
  • Display commitment to continuous improvement of business.
  • Mathematical ability to understand and calculate payments based on local accounting rules.
  • Must have organizational skills.
  • Must have time management skills.
  • Proven ability to operate in the banking/corporate environment.
