Job Description:

This role is part of the EBS A2R Americas Finance team responsible for Local Statements Key Responsibilities include ensuring the completeness and accuracy of both US and Local GAAP & Tax reporting working closely with the Country Tax Centers (CTC). This includes recording statutory ledgers and maintaining accuracy of parallel ledgers (if applicable), focusing on ensuring the correct tax accounting and liaison / coordination with internal and external audit teams.

The Senior Accounting Professional will also be responsible for execution of Venezuela payments and joint work with the external and internal accounting support team, design audit plans in terms of schedules, communication protocols, timely escalation, making the statement of cash flows under IFRS for the legal entities under its responsibility, making the reconciliation between local and corporate figures, ensures accuracy and adherence of corporate policies and IFRS, monitors and facilitates the activities scheduled for each external audit, knowledge of general accounting processes and controllership, IFRS or USGAAP knowledge mainly in Colombia, Peru and Venezuela.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 1 to 3 years of experience having under responsibility the attention of the financial external audit.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, interpersonal skills, understanding of accounting principles and practices, compliance knowledge (SOX and internal controls).
  • Knowledge of local regulations in countries other than Colombia (Optional).
