Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our team at AI Fund. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable software solutions for our portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
  2. Develop the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  3. Design and implement well-functioning databases and applications
  4. Write effective APIs
  5. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  6. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
  7. Create security and data protection settings
  8. Build features and applications

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
  2. Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
  3. Familiarity with common stacks
  4. Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
  5. Knowledge of multiple object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, Python) and multiple frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)
  6. Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
  7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to have in-depth technical discussions with both the engineering team and business people
  8. Excellent English language skills
  9. Self-starter and comfort working in an early-stage environment
  10. Strong project management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field; Master's or PhD degree is a plus
  2. Understanding of AI/ML models
  3. Understanding of big data tools, including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  4. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  5. Experience with consumer applications and data handling
  6. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices
