About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Colombia. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and cases for our web components, working closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and practices.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute test plans and cases for our web components.
- Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of software.
- Apply concepts such as the Test Pyramid.
- Solution for regression and acceptance testing.
- Train team members.
- Experience with Manual Testing on Web Applications UI & API QA.
- Experience with SQL Server.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal for a Technical and Non-Technical audience.
- Experience in planning, controlling, specifying, and executing web-based tests.
- Experience in defining, collecting, measuring, and presenting Quality Metrics for continuous improvement.
- Task management tools (e.g. GitLab, JIRA).
- Experience in documentation to clearly report defects and improvements.
- Knowledge of testing pyramid.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and tools like Storybook.
