Key Responsibilities
  • API Design and Development: Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable APIs using C# and AWS services, with a focus on AWS Lambda.

  • Architecture Optimization: Optimize existing API architecture to improve performance and scalability, employing best practices in cloud-native development.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security of our APIs through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices in authorization and authentication.
  • Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
  • Emerging Technologies and Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing and API development, recommending innovations that can enhance our systems and processes.
  • AWS Lambda Management: Manage AWS Lambda configurations, including concurrency settings and function versioning.

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years of API Development Experience: 5+ years of experience in API development, with a strong portfolio showcasing solutions developed in C#.
  • Advanced AWS Cloud Services Expertise: Advanced proficiency in AWS cloud services, specifically AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other serverless architectures.
  • RESTful API Design Principles: In-depth understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience with microservices architecture.
  • AWS IAM and.NET Experience: Advanced experience with AWS IAM, including roles and policies for securing endpoints. Experience with.NET 5/6.
  • Coding Standards and Version Control: Solid foundation in coding standards, version control (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Exceptional Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Nice to Have Skills
  • GraphQL API Design and Implementation: Experience with GraphQL API design and implementation.
