Job Description: Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience. This role is for a Regulatory Compliance Expert - Product Development located in Colombia. The position will report directly to the Regional Regulatory Affairs Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support existing product portfolio in food applications by providing regulatory expertise and insight
- Lead lifecycle management of products, including opening new markets/applications and introducing existing products into additional countries/jurisdictions within the region
- Active involvement with new projects and new product developments, defining regulatory strategies and supporting dossier work as needed
- Ensure relevant risk evaluation and management processes are followed and complete
- Identify advocacy needs in the region and work with colleagues globally to track and assess impact of regulations and guidance documents
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in similar positions
- Chemical engineering, Food engineering, nutrition or equivalent education
- Advanced knowledge of Andean Region regulations (CODEX)
- Mandatory physical location in Colombia
