- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare reports on budgeted vs. actual cost variances, identifying root causes and suggesting improvements.
- Cost Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual cost budgets and conducting periodic reviews to compare actual results with budgeted amounts.
- Process Optimization and Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs by analyzing efficiencies in production and administrative processes.
- Inventory Control: Supervise inventory and material costs, ensuring compliance with valuation standards under US GAAP.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting, financial control, or similar roles in companies adhering to US GAAP standards.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks). Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Competencies: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
