Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous driving experience, a valid driver's license, and strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations. You will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport staff, goods, and materials, while ensuring a safe and efficient delivery process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Efficiency: Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, equipment, and materials as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and the public.
- Route Planning and Optimization: Plan and optimize routes for efficiency and timeliness. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles, reporting any issues promptly.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring they are secured for transit. Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle conditions.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff or clients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the logistics team to facilitate smooth transportation operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or training is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous driving experience, preferably in a professional or commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
